About The Bay
Created by Daragh Carville and Richard Clark, The Bay follows family liaison officers in Morecambe, Lancashire: the detectives who stay close to victims’ families while the hunt for answers goes on, sometimes finding the truth inside the household. Morven Christie leads the first two series as Lisa Armstrong, and Marsha Thomason takes over as Jenn Townsend from series 3. Five six-episode series aired on ITV between 2019 and 2025, and all five stream in the U.S. on BritBox.
