Black Doves season 2 comes out on Netflix on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Netflix announced the date on its Tudum site. Like the first season, the whole season is released on the same day, so you can binge it in one go.
Netflix usually puts new seasons up at 12 a.m. Pacific (3 a.m. Eastern). It hasn’t confirmed a separate time for this title, so treat that as the likely time, not a promise. The Black Doves show page has the dates and sources, and we’ll update it if anything changes.

What is season 2 about?
Helen Webb is still passing secrets to the Black Doves, the spy-for-hire network she works for. The difference now is that her husband, Wallace, is getting ready to become prime minister, so the risk of being found out is much bigger. Her handler, Mrs. Reed, is pulled into a plot that threatens her own position in the organization.
Sam, the hitman who kept Helen alive in season 1, has slid into drinking alone and taking cheap jobs. Netflix’s synopsis says the two team up again, and that old loyalties are turned against them as they try to work out who they can trust.
Season 1 was set over a London Christmas. Netflix’s announcement doesn’t say whether season 2 returns to the holiday setting.

How to catch up on season 1
Season 1 (six episodes) has been on Netflix since December 5, 2024, and it’s still there, so you only need a Netflix subscription to watch both seasons. Black Doves is a Netflix original, so it isn’t on BritBox, Acorn TV or PBS.
Season 1 is short enough to rewatch in a weekend before November 5. It ends with Helen and Sam both alive but exposed, which is where season 2 picks up.
