The fall schedule is busy. October 18 is the biggest night: Maigret and The Gold return to MASTERPIECE on PBS back to back, and Professor T starts its weekly PBS broadcast run the same Sunday. On streaming, Apple TV’s Slow Horses runs through October 21, BritBox and Acorn TV have several premieres through November, and Netflix releases Black Doves season 2 on November 5.

All dates are U.S. dates. PBS times are the network’s national slots, and some member stations air programmes at different times.
PBS: MASTERPIECE’s Sunday mysteries
PBS has split its fall mystery season into two halves. Until October 11, The Marlow Murder Club airs at 8/7c and Marble Hall Murders at 9/8c. From October 18, Maigret takes the 9/8c slot and The Gold follows at 10/9c. PBS’s schedule lists six weekly episodes of each through November 22.
Professor T runs differently. PBS Passport members could stream all of season 5 from August 9, but the weekly broadcast doesn’t start until October 18, and because it isn’t in a national MASTERPIECE slot, each station chooses when to air it. Streaming services
- Apple TV: Slow Horses season 6 releases one episode a week. Episodes are dated Wednesdays, but Just Jared reported the premiere arrived at 9 p.m. ET the evening before. The finale is dated October 21.
- BritBox: Tommy & Tuppence is mid-run. Ludwig season 2 starts October 13 and Time season 3 on October 22, both weekly.
- Acorn TV: Signora Volpe season 3 starts October 5 and The Red King on October 19, both on Mondays. Wolf arrives on October 26 as a six-episode binge.
- Netflix: Black Doves season 2 arrives on November 5 with all episodes on the same day.
Still waiting: shows without a U.S. date
Blue Lights series 4 launches in the U.K. on September 29. BritBox streamed season 3 in the U.S. and has promoted season 4 as coming soon, but hasn’t announced a U.S. date. We track the season on its Blue Lights season 4 page and will add the date once it’s confirmed.
