Why did some sites say the U.S. date was unconfirmed?
Season 2 was released in the U.K. in June 2025, and for a while no U.S. date had been published. PBS has since announced October 18, 2026. Pages written before that announcement may not have been updated.

About The Gold
A crime drama inspired by the 1983 Brink's-Mat robbery at Heathrow, when a gang stole far more gold than it had planned for and set off one of the longest investigations in Metropolitan Police history. The series follows detectives chasing the gold and the people who laundered it.
