About The Gold
A crime drama inspired by the 1983 Brink's-Mat robbery at Heathrow, when a gang stole far more gold than it had planned for and set off one of the longest investigations in Metropolitan Police history. The series follows detectives chasing the gold and the people who laundered it.
Season 2: Season 2 moves from the robbery to its consequences: international money laundering, organised crime and a series of manhunts as detectives try to follow the gold.
